In the third installment of Buckhead’s Rising Stars, we meet seven locals sprung from various industries who are taking their careers and callings to the top. These over-achievers range from 27-year-old Atlanta Hawk Kent Bazemore, an indisputably talented NBA young-gun, to doctor, mother and media personality Darria Long Gillespie, who uses her Yale University Medical degree and Harvard MBA to help others. They come from distinct backgrounds and possess unique talents, but each is driven to be the best of the best in their chosen fields.
