In this exhibit at the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, artist Derrick Adams reflects on the life and work of famed African American fashion designer Patrick Kelly. To inspire his creations, Adams delved into the Patrick Kelly archives at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, which included a book proposal about Kelly written by his friend and esteemed poet Maya Angelou.
