There are 12 different flavors, in fact, with names such as Olivia’s Old South, Cranberry Kelli and Jalapeno Holly. The Classic Carol is the recipe that started it all back in 2008, when Chicken Salad Chick founder Stacy Brown was forced to stop selling chicken salad out of her kitchen and came up with the idea to turn it into a fast-casual restaurant concept that now boasts more than 50 locations nationwide. The secret to its popularity is that the chicken salad is made in-house daily from all-white-meat chicken, minced celery, a hint of mayo and their secret seasoning.
