Wesley Woods names honorees!
Buckhead residents Kathy Waller and John Stephenson will be named honorees at the Foundation of Wesley Woods Senior Living’s Heroes, Saints and Legends Awards Gala on Sept. 17 at Flourish Atlanta.
Since 1990, the event has celebrated 119 individuals and raised a total of $9.1 million. “The gala helps us fund our key areas: financial assistance, pastoral care, wellness programs and capital needs,” says Foundation President Diane Vaughan.
Waller, executive director for the Atlanta Community for Progress and retired CFO of The Coca-Cola Company, founded its Women’s Leadership Council and serves on numerous nonprofit boards.
Stephenson, retired executive director of the J. Bulow Campbell Foundation and current executive director of the Georgia Health Foundation, has built his career on education and philanthropy. He was also vice president of development at Emory University.
