SCAD Animation Festival is back for its 10th year this month.
SCAD Animation Festival, held at SCADShow and Forty event space, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The three-day event, held Sept. 23 to 25, will include panels from industry professionals, screenings of top student work and more.
While the 2026 lineup is still forthcoming, past speakers have included “Phineas and Ferb” creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, as well as KPop Demon Hunters co-director Chris Appelhans. Attendees can look forward to networking opportunities, themed activations and guests from top animated films and TV shows. New this year is the Short Shorts Animation Fest, a session dedicated to animated shorts under five minutes.
Tickets are $10 per session and $5 for alumni, with a $35 screening pass granting access to mainstage film screenings. A $100 festival pass covers all sessions open to the public.
