Artsapalooza will be serving up a side of scrambled eggs April 16-17 in Sandy Springs as the free springtime festival unveils its artistic treasures on Easter weekend. Families can B.Y.O.B. (bring your own basket) and hop on down the bunny trail to find eggs in a beautiful outdoor setting alongside an expansive gallery of art, live acoustic performances by local musicians, a children’s play area and gourmet food trucks offering healthy alternatives and beverages.
“This year, we’re joining forces with Heritage Sandy Springs and welcome festival goers to join us for the largest Easter egg hunt in the city with over 5,000 hidden Easter eggs,” says Randall Fox, founder of Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, which hosts the event.
Enjoy artist demonstrations and hands-on activities while browsing the creative works of 150-plus arts and crafts vendors, including painters, photographers, sculptors, jewelers, glass blowers and leather and metal artisans. Leashed dogs are invited, too. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat., 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun.
