Michel Arnette’s latest restaurant brings coastal cuisine to Brookhaven!

Siren, the latest concept from restaurateur Michel Arnette, the talent behind Arnette’s Chop Shop, Haven, Valenza and Vero, is now open in Brookhaven. Accessible through Arnette’s Chop Shop, the restaurant highlights wood-fired seafood, crudos and raw bar selections. We spoke with Arnette about what to expect.
After opening several successful restaurants in Brookhaven, what inspired you to create Siren?
Siren’s concept has been in the works for a couple of years. The thought is to provide Brookhaven with a new dining destination focused on modern coastal cuisine with culinary influences from around the world. Additionally, we want our newest concept to complement the success of our modern upscale steakhouse, Arnette’s Chop Shop. The menu highlights wood-fired seafood.
What makes that cooking method such a natural fit here?
Executive Chefs Stephen Herman and Matt Swickerath have been cooking over multiple wood species for years. The intent is to showcase the delicate nature and finesse of wood roasting with seafood, vegetables, herbs and other proteins.
How did you create a menu that feels both elevated and approachable?
That is always our intention with every concept. We understand seafood can be intimidating to diners, especially considering menu choices with crudo and raw bar selections. Our approach is to offer pristine, fresh seafood options that are familiar to our guests and prepared with simple ingredients and culinary techniques. The expansive open kitchen provides incredible theater for diners to relish the craft of culinary refinement.
What do you hope Siren brings to Brookhaven specifically?
My hope is to always inspire our neighbors to dine here in Brookhaven and provide unique dining experiences that continue to highlight Brookhaven as a dining destination.
