A FUN-FILLED OUTING FOR AMERICAN GIRL FANS
For kids who love the idea of exploring history with their favorite American Girl doll characters, Heritage Sandy Springs welcomes them to attend its monthly American Girl and Boy Club meeting, held at the historic Williams-Payne House. May’s event is titled “Caroline Sails Into Summer,” and attendees will learn about ships, sailing, log cabins and more as they hear the spunky doll’s story of growing up in Sackets Harbor near Lake Ontario, where her family runs a shipyard. Best suited for children ages 5 through 12, the meeting also includes a hands-on activity, craft and snack. Advanced registration is requested.
