FOUR LUNCH BREAK FRIENDLY WORKOUTS

If early morning or evening workouts aren’t your cup of green tea, the good news is that Buckhead is home to several lunch-hour options. Here are four classes for getting your fit on in the middle of the day.

CP Bootcamp F.I.T. at Club Pilates

The Details: This 50-minute full body workout is offered at noon on Thursdays and combines cardio interval training with a workout on the studio’s Pilates reformer.

Why Try: “If you’re looking to get your heart rate up, burn some calories and still feel energized to finish your workday, this is your class,” says Brittany Collazo, studio manager. “You’ll get the long, lean muscles that Pilates creates, along with the benefits of interval training.”

Cost: $10-$29/class

TR30 at Total Row

The Details: This 30-minute class uses WaterRowers (rowing machines) for half the time, while the other half is spent off the machine working with kettle bells, slam balls and your own body weight.

Why Try: “What’s great about our lunch classes, and rowing in general, is that in only 30 minutes, we give you a one-stop-shop, total-body strength workout and cardio challenge with little to no impact,” says Elliott Smith, owner and founder.

Cost: $23/class (first class is free)

The Details: This 35- to 40-minute class is centered around timed intervals of strength training using the Total Gym, treadmills, weights, slam balls and other resistance-training tools. Cardio intervals are introduced to provide metabolic training and a high-calorie burn.

Why Try: “At Gravity, you’ll work at your level, whether you’re an Ironman triathlete or someone just stepping into fitness,” says Paige Castor, studio manager. “Our trainers are some of the best in the business and will push and encourage you in a safe and supportive environment.”

Cost: $25/class (first class is free)

Why Try: “This ride lets you squeeze in a workout even on the busiest of days,” says Instructor Teresa Meason. “Although this class is 10 minutes shorter than our regular classes, you’ll still leave feeling energized and ready to take on the rest of your day.”
